Dear Santa
Every child deserves to feel seen, heard, and remembered at Christmas.
Through Beverly’s Angels’ Dear Santa Program, we provide thoughtfully packed Santa sacks to children whose families may be facing financial hardship. Our goal isn't simply to give gifts. It's to create a Christmas morning filled with magic, joy, connection, and love. Only the parents know it is from Beverly’s Angels, we are their Santa.
What’s Inside a Dear Santa sack?
Every sack is packed intentionally, thoughtfully, and with love.
-
At the heart of every Santa sack is our $100 Essentials Bundle, because Christmas magic starts with having the things every child needs.
Each Essentials Bundle includes:
5 pairs of underwear
5 pairs of socks
2 pairs of pajamas
-
Each child receives 3–5 gifts selected directly from their personal wish list, provided by their parent or guardian.
We don't believe in generic gift giving. We don't shop for "an 8-year-old boy" or "a 12-year-old girl." We shop for each individual child.
Our gifts might encourage children to get outside, communicate, or step away from their screens. They might bring families together and create opportunities to simply be present with one another. For this reason, we do not give anything with a plug.
-
Every Santa sack also includes pancake mix and syrup so families can sit down together for a fun, simple Christmas morning breakfast. Sometimes the memories made around the table are just as important as the gifts underneath the tree.
-
We provide wrapping paper and tape so parents and guardians can experience the joy of wrapping their child’s gifts themselves and watching them open each one on Christmas morning. It may seem like a small detail, but it’s intentional. We want families to enjoy those moments, too.
Who Receives a Dear Santa Sack?
Children are nominated through our law enforcement partners and local businesses.
Our law enforcement partners nominate children and families they encounter through their work, while businesses can nominate their employees' children as a way of recognizing and supporting the families behind the people who serve our community every day.
They are children and families in our community, parents who are doing their best. We believe they deserve a Christmas filled with magic.
