In a flash of awareness, an epiphany occurred sometime during September 2018. Faith wanted to embrace Beverly's good and generous side upon her mother's death and forego her anger and resentment, which began in her childhood.
Through random acts of kindness to heal herself, with no specific cause to champion, Faith created her foundation, Beverly's Angels. While harnessing her voice on this beautiful journey, to her surprise, she also provided a platform for others to heal themselves, all while selflessly serving the community. On Christmas Eve 2019, Faith received the official document for 501(c)3 status. |
In 2020, throughout the Covid-19 pandemic, our Angel volunteers worked with our community partners to deliver no-contact healthy family-style meals and pantry staples to an ever-growing population of families. We also provided basic household necessities to homeless families recently placed in affordable housing for a fresh start to a brighter future.
In recognition of our service to the community, we were honored when Fran Bratcher, founder of Family to Family Kids Crisis Closet, asked us to adopt and care for her organization upon her retirement. An honor we do not take lightly.
The magic of the holidays came to life as we provided essentials, food, and Christmas gifts to hundreds of children and their families. As Christmas Eve approached, our grassroots organization was there to help when all other charities had gone back to the North Pole. We are proud to say we did not turn one child or family away.
Organically blossoming into the organization it is today, Beverly's Angels have two core principles. First, we provide new essentials to children and their families by creating a hands-up approach to families in need of helping their current situation. Secondly, we provide a meaningful platform with purpose for our Angel volunteers.
