Puma Golf Shorts
has anyone ever seen or heard of a black cougar?
I will keep it short. A credible guy seen one at a local golf course…oh yeah I live in a rural area of Oregon. A week later one was seen about 5 miles away from the golf course on someones home property. In the last 50 years there has been about 4 or 5 reports of seeing a black cougar in the area I live in. It seems unlikely that we have panthers or puma’s roaming around oregon.
At our place in south central Texas, we have had a panther, cougar, puma, wildcat, call it what you will roaming around occasionally for a number of years.
Not long ago I saw one dead on the side of the road that someone had hit, and that sucker was BLACK.
What we probably don’t have are the black panthers like you see in the zoo, unless some dim bulb had one for a pet and it got away.
