Rules of Golf – Beginners Guide

The rules of golf are very complicated and not very easy to read. There are many books that explain rules, but it must be aside a couple of hours to cope.

I have detailed below the most common "inadvertently broken" the rules on the golf course. This would be a good starting point for a new person in the game of golf.

Free & Drops penalty

By leaving a ball and free fall is a club length drop and a penalty is two lengths of wood.

You must return the ball to the nearest point of relief not nearer the hole.

If your ball is in a bush gets a reduced sentence of two club lengths of where the ball is, if you ever do in the bush, then to take one of two choices you. You can go online with the ball and the flag as much as you want (one penalty stroke). Or, you can return to play in you played his last shot. (A penalty stroke).

If your ball on a bridge over a danger not come free, unless a rule of exhaustion of this course, you must play the ball as it lies or take a penalty drop.

Can not find your ball, you can not go back and play a provisional ball, while fellow Game to continue seeking his original ball. You can not play a provisional ball after you left the last place where he made his move. If he does return to play a second ball is the ball in play, even if you or your partner finds his original ball game once you play the second ball is the ball you have finished the hole. With a penalty stroke.

watersheds of the trees are not a free-fall, unless the board under the local rules.

Risks

Here are the difference of color issues and what they mean.

s bleached half out of bounds and then returns the point play his last shot and make another move (one penalty stroke).

Yellow means danger stakes in the yard, has three options:

1. Play the ball as it lies, not lower your club or touch or remove debris that sticks to rocks, etc.

2. Take a point Online input and lower the flag and to the extent that you want.

3. Return to your last played his shot.

Options 2 and 3 will cost you or a penalty stroke.

Red side is at stake "water" at risk (not necessarily water) has five options for choose.

1. Play the ball as it lies, not lower your club or touch or remove debris that sticks to stones

2. Place a ball at the point entry at risk (club two lengths) not nearer the hole.

3. Leave a ball from the other side of the hazard equidistant from the hole.

4. Take a point Online input and lower the flag and as far as you want.

5. Return to your last played his shot.

Options 2, 3, 4 and 5 will cost or a penalty stroke.

If you see your ball goes into a hazard can not play a provisional ball. You follow the above rules to the stakes of yellow or red.

If your ball is in a sand bunker and a machine is made a mark or impression, you get no free fall. The bunker is a hazard prevention and are the same as a danger bets, with one exception is if the ball is in the water in a bunker, you will receive a free fall, but it should be dropped in the bunker not nearer the hole.

Green

A ball can be lifted to clean green provide the position of the ball before scoring being retired.

If you or your brand of ball caddy on the green in the wrong position, not directly behind the ball, you incur a penalty two strokes

You caps and can repair the damage caused by the impact of a ball on the green if your ball is on the green. Any other damage can be repaired this will help you play later.

Not knowing the rules of golf is not an excuse, if you break the rules, then you should give the necessary penalty strokes. If have any doubt about what to do, while playing in a competition, you can play a second ball and deposited two partitions and the rules committee of the day will be critical.

This runs throughout the book of rules and become more involved in the game, you have to read all the rules, especially if you play at a competitive level.
