You are right, buy something from Canada and sent by UPS to pay a brokerage style extortion. UPS is well known for raping people with reasonable brokerage fees and excessive. What brokerage commissions are essentially: # 1. GST (7% is in your country) # 2. All clearance may have to pay, because of NAFTA you should not have. What is the brokerage fees you ask? This is the fee that UPS considers that the time it takes to complete the export forms to Customs The next time you buy something from eBay USA, use the USPS shipping method and get a quote shipping before you buy.
