Golf Hitting Nets
is there any advice you have for my first golf game in over15 years?
I have been practicing the last two or three months in the back yard using a practice net. and hitting balls out in the field (WE have 6 acres). So my husband says we will be going monday (because none of his friends are available) to see how I do. I can tell I will not do very good.
Stick with small (half) backswings. If you keep your swing short you can maintain your balance and control a lot more. You may sacrifice a little distance however often you’ll strike the ball better & not lose any distance at all. By doing this the extra control you have will result in getting in trouble less often and also better guarantee a ball strike. Just keep in mind because you’re only half swinging doesn’t mean you have to muscle the downswing & smash it. Just swing easy and let the club weight do the work.
