What are good mods for a Volkswagen Golf mk3 95?
I do crazy body kits and huge exhaust tips, I think nothing too flashy. nothing to make the car a little faster on a cold air intake, cosmetic material?
Depends on the budget. From '95 Golf is only supplied 2.0L engine with 8v (the VR6 for you to get the GTI), there arent many mods available for this car. For a good (reasonable) to upgrade, replace the exhaust pipe, filter K & N intake cone bullet. It will add power modest but affordable. (100-500 $ each next step) above; motor mods. There are more aggressive cams for about $ 300, and turbo or supercharger kits thousands. All these things require you to partially disassemble the engine and have decent mechanical skills. Not for the weak heart. The same is true of the engine change. Setting the 1.8T and VR6 engine under the hood pretty well but the job requires and $ to do the job. In my opinion, no place worth thousands of dollars on this car. For this kind of money you could buy a used car or an apartment with a 1.8T Golf Jetta already exceeds most mods you could do in '95.
